Jonata Technology Limited (JTL) is involved in the presentation of projects to the European Union, the UN and other institutions, as well as following its own course in which the use of MultiMedia Content,
Semantics, Accessibility and Social issues are addressed. Other factors, such as the uptake of pervasive, mobile computing are changing the expectations of the market place and the ways to access information systems and services. JTL uses the CKB as an Exchange between the new interfaces and paradigms to map and configure the integration between the elements required.
CONCEPT MAPPING JTL is working on a project to use concept mapping to organise and analyze the knowledge flows in an organisation and subsequently generate information systems based on thesese structures. The Ckb acts as as the mechanism for binding the component parts into a dynamic structure. The same concept is being used in a project for creating "Destination Management" for accessing local information, in cities such as Venice, for tourism and purposes.
MOBILE & FIXED TELEPHONY JTL has already worked on CTI systems to integrate Telephony in ICT. The systems that have been implemented include Remote Insurance Claim Management, Workers Shift Management planning - especially in Ports, Hospital Appointment Systems and Call Centre Automation - using voice and tone processing. These systems enable a unified method of interrogating information systems. As an evolution of these systems Jonata has developed a gateway which also integrates SMS and MMS messaging, especially from mobile phones, enabling access to the data via text. This is being developed for Touristic Content Delivery, and Secure Banking Transactions.

CWA-HUMAN INTERFACES JTL is working in a number of projects designed to make the User Interface intuitive, usable and accessible - for all - including people with diverse requirements and abilities. These projects focus around the concept of a Common Working Area designed to simplify the user interaction and enable intuitive communication with applications and information sources. The "Senti che Notizia" ("Hear All About It") is a project created to allow Visually Impaired people access Newspapers, using vocal or textual input, and natural language, to read newspapers. In fact the reader is a Virtual agent who is able to assimilate the users' behaviour patterns (voice, "dialect", preferences) and act accordingly.
