CKB - Collaborative Knowledge Broker
The CKB - is the core concept of Jonata Technology Limited (JTL). As a
methodology for application system architecture its principles have been used in providing solutions in many projects and business management solutions. It is now being developed as a software component for integrating applications and communication systems. It was initially developed to integrate distributed systems for Project Managenent and Business Process Engineering in large international Construction, Engineering and Communication projects in the 1980's in which there was already a need for secure, intelligent distribution of information among the protagonists. Subsequently the concepts were applied in other sectors, and scaled down for use by SME companies. It is ideal for providing Internet and Mobile based solutions and the CKB engine wbe released soon on Cellular phones.
Intrinsic in its nature are the concepts of COLLABORATION - reflected in its special management of relationships within an organisation structure - including the communications between the actors, KNOWLEDGE - which is the intuitive generation and classification of contextual information to enhance the processes by creating sharable knowledge, BROKER - in that it provides a secure intelligent mechanism for distributing messages and communications within the system.
